A selection of push fit energy saving 2 Pin and 4 Pin compact fluorescent lamps (CFL'S) which meet the new building regulation standards. These 2 pin and 4 pin push fit light bulbs are often known as PL lamps or PL light bulbs.
The new building regulations specify that a percentage of the lamps must be push fit as opposed to bayonet fitting to ensure that true energy saving, compact fluorescent lamps (CFL's) are fitted as opposed to traditional incandescent bulbs. This regulation helps to ensure that energy efficient PL light bulbs are used not only when the property is new but also throughout the life of the property. This is clearly a valid contribution to producing a greener more sustainable environment.
These energy saving 2 pin and 4 pin light bulbs or PL lamps are made with different cap fittings to ensure that the correct bulb is used to match the light fitting and control gear.
These PL light bulbs will deliver around an 80% saving over traditional incandescent bulbs and emit a warm white light which is ideally suited for interior use.
