Halogen MR16 light bulbs are suitable for down lighters and any other lighting fixture that requires a MR16 GU5.3 bulb. MR16 light bulbs are mainly used in lights where there needs to be a directional beam to highlight or emphasise a specific place.
Saving-Light-Bulbs supplies low voltage halogen spot lights of the MR16 type and are 12 volt operation, however they require a 12 volt transformer of a suitable load capacity (wattage) to operate from mains voltage electric circuits.
Halogen MR16 light bulbs are available in 20W, 35W and 50W options. They are all available in warm white colour temperature which would match most colour temperatures used in other fixtures throughout the house or workplace. Warm white would perfectly highlight a feature without it being overpowering or too strong. The bulbs all have a 38 degree beam angle to be good with feature lighting and spot lighting. Their 2000 hours rated life will also mean that the light bulbs themselves don't need to be changed as regularly as standard halogen bulbs.
