GLS bulbs stand for General Light Shape which relates back to the Edison light bulb. The code for the bulb is A60. The shape of the GLS’s is similar to a globe but the globe light bulb is rounder in shape and the GLS is slightly longer in size.
The GLS light bulb is available to buy at Saving-Light-Bulbs in 28W, 42W and 70W. These different wattages are equivalent to a 40W, 60W and 100W traditional incandescent bulb and give out the same light output.
