A 7w LED PL lamp which has a G23 2 pin cap fitting.
This push fit bulb is available in either warm white 2700K or natural white light colour of 4200K.
The end is rotating so the lamp can be turned to point in the desired direction.
Good light output at 700lm which means that it will produce an equivalent light output to a 13w or 18w compact fluorescent lamp.
The effective efficiency is also higher that a traditional CFL push fit bulb as the light output does not rely on the reflection back from a fitting reflector. This means that the effective illumination is higher per lumen output. Length 122mm with a body of 35x35mm.
This lamp has its own internal LED driver so just requires wiring direct across the mains. Please remember that if you are fitting in a fitting made for fluorescent lamps to remove or bi-pass the control gear.

I needed this to replace an original fluorescent G23 bulb in a desk lamp. Chose this as it needed to be quite short to fit in the lamp head. Works fine with a nice warm coloured light.

Excellent replacement for the original fluorescent producing a brighter light with virtually no heat output. The natural white lamp is still a little on the warm side though and I would have preferred a somewhat higher colour temperature to meet my requirement. Will it last long enough to justify the higher cost (mine were not bought at the discounted price)? Time will tell .

9 of the 10 bulbs delivered were fine, one has a loose connection. They are shorter than the GU23 fluorescent they replace so the lighting pattern is slightly different, but not significantly so. The wiring of the lamp fittings needed to be altered slightly, but Paul at SLB patiently diagnosed the snag I was having and it took about 10 mins per lamp to resolve. They now work well and we are very happy with them.
