The RMT500BLK is a 500W RF trailing edge dimmer used for Halogen, Tungsten filament lamps, and GU10 LED lamps. It is designed to fit in the ceiling or cupboard. The module controls up to 500W of mains dimmable light loads and fits through a standard down-light cut-out. The unit can also be used for exterior lighting control applications. The module is used in-line within the circuit to facilitate dimming of trailing edge dimmable LED down-lights. The device comes with a set-up button to manually switch on and off but it is not suitable for use with inductive or wire-wound loads. The dimmer can be controlled using any other Rako Rakom device such as RP/RCM push button or RF wall-plates. Please note that the dimmer can also be used in a Rako wired systems by 16 scene memory storage.
